Sniper AI Labs ('we', 'us', 'our') operates DakGyan (dakgyan.in). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and applicable Indian data protection laws.

• Authentication Data: Encrypted authentication tokens, session identifiers
• Payment Transaction Metadata: Transaction IDs, order IDs, subscription status, plan type, timestamps (no raw card numbers, CVV, or banking credentials are stored on our servers — all payment processing is handled by Razorpay, an RBI-licensed payment aggregator)
• Usage & Performance Data: Quiz scores, topic-wise analytics, AI chat interactions, feature usage patterns
• Device & Technical Data: Browser type, device type, operating system, IP address (anonymized), screen resolution

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We process personal data based on: (a) your consent provided at registration, (b) performance of the subscription contract, (c) legitimate interests in platform security and improvement, and (d) compliance with legal obligations under Indian law.

5. Cookies & Analytics

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) with Consent Mode v2 for anonymous, aggregated performance and traffic analysis. No advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels are deployed. Users can manage cookie preferences via the cookie consent banner. Detailed cookie types:

• Strictly Necessary: Authentication session, CSRF protection
• Analytics (Optional): GA4 measurement ID, anonymous page view and event tracking

6. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We share data only with:

• Razorpay (payment processing — PCI-DSS compliant)
• Supabase (authentication and database hosting — SOC 2 compliant)
• Google Analytics (anonymized usage telemetry)
• OpenAI (AI doubt resolution and vector search — only query text is sent, no personal identifiers)

We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party for marketing purposes.

7. Data Retention

Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion request, personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., financial transaction records retained for 8 years under Indian tax law). Anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely.

8. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS 1.3), encrypted storage, role-based access controls, and regular security audits. Despite our best efforts, no system is 100% secure.

You have the right to:

10. Children's Privacy

DakGyan is intended for users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we become aware of such collection, we will promptly delete the data.
